Qualifications: • University graduate • Minimum 2-3 years of integrated media planning/ buying experience • Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment; can adapt plans due to changes in client objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum • Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to client business objectives • Balanced ability to perform analytically and creatively • Media vendor negotiation experience • Well organized multi-tasker able to work independently • Good English and interpersonal communication, secondary language skills a plus • Good Team player • Detail-minded and able to work under pressure • Ability to work with numbers • Good PC skills, especially excel and PowerPoint The ideal planner should be well versed in the following tools: • Google Ad Words • Facebook Power Editor • Doubleclick Tag Manager • Google Analytics
岗位职责
Purpose of the job: The Planning Supervisor/Associate Planning Manager is instrumental in driving client success through strategic media planning, execution, and relationship management. This role involves acquiring new clients, managing day-to-day client interactions, and ensuring the seamless execution of media plans aligned with clients' business objectives. The incumbent serves as a key point of contact, offering strategic insights, fostering positive internal and external relationships, and overseeing internal processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: (or 'Duties') 1. New Client Acquisition and Pitch Participation: • Collaborate with the team to acquire new clients and participate in pitch presentations. • Develop tailored media strategies for potential clients. 2. Media Planning and Execution: • Formulate client media objectives and strategies. • Develop and maintain media plans and buy authorizations. • Monitor budgets and media spending, addressing discrepancies promptly. • Evaluate media types/outlets and compile competitive market reports. • Manage added value and merchandising components of media buys. • Coordinate with media reps and other units as needed. 3. Client & Internal Relationships: • Manage day-to-day client interactions and set clear expectations. • Advise clients on media integration into their marketing programs. • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts. • Stay informed on media trends and share insights with the team. • Lead or participate in client/vendor meetings and build positive relationships. • Proactively resolve issues and escalate concerns when necessary. • Guide and support team members, fostering a collaborative environment. • Assist in training junior staff and oversee their performance management. 4. Internal Process Management: • Handle internal processes, including system usage, media ordering, and financial/legal follow-up. • Ensure accurate and timely completion of internal documentation and reporting. 5. Any other tasks and duties that the line manager/company assigns Communications Skills: • Clearly and concisely communicate ideas orally and in writing. • Organize information logically for effective decision-making. • Assist in developing media presentations and tactical POVs. • Create clear, compelling client reports with key insights. • Keep the team informed on client and agency matters.
