Qualification and Skills: Degree in mechanical engineering. At least 4 years’ experience in the Automotive industry Experience of at least 2 product mechanical design from beginning to SOP. Master of Automotive environment test items requirements; like ISO-16750, VW80000… Skills in mechanical simulations (thermal, vibration, water…) Master of Catia. Strong recommend for the experience with domain controller mechanical design, especially water cooling experience. Excellent initiative, engagement and personal responsibility Target oriented and well structure Able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking, listening) is a plus

Key Tasks: Define domain controller mechanical requirements. Interface to Tier1 supplier for mechanical technical discussion. Join design review and give rating from mechanical technical perspective. Estimate supplier quotation regarding mechanical parts. Lookup market tooling technology and suggest the most suitable solution. Select connectors and define cooling strategy together with our electrical engineer. Lead product packaging/assembly location in vehicle. Support global team for mechanical design. Join mechanical simulation activity with Tier1 supplier, and make sure the simulation result on the right way. Mechanical failure analysis. Support project team on mechanical development and risk identification. Take ownership of the environment test items in DV/PV, follow up Tier1 to finish environment test on time and quality.
